Vanessa Minnillo, newly crowned host of televisions series "Wipeout", found a reason to jump for joy on the big red balls when she married Nick Lachey in a cozy ceremony on a tropical island. Minnillo said "For us, this is just a stepping stone to do what we ultimately want and that's to start a family together."

The couple kept the wedding a secret from their guests. "We told them they were going away and the attire was 'island chic.' It was all very vague," said Lachey. Sure, they didn't have a clue. But while the event was an intimate affair, the world will share in the celebration which was set to air on TLC just two weeks later!

In the TLC special, Minnillo revealed that she knew she would be compared to his ex, Jessica Simpson, when they decided to have their wedding filmed. "To address the elephant in the room, yes, coincidentally at the same time our wedding is going, his ex is actually also doing the beautiful thing of getting merried...," she said.
