Simple Civil Ceremony
Longoria and Parker returned to Paris - the site of their reconciliation - to be wed at city hall to be married by the Mayor of Paris, Bertrand Delanoë. The city hall ceremony was a necessity required by French law. Outside the building, over 1,000 cheering fans celebrated the new union. The civil nuptials were followed up by a religious ceremony, also in Paris, attended by 250 guests.
