Captain says Robert Wagner "Responsible" for Natalie Wood's Death

Only 11 days before the 30th anniversary of her drowning death off Cataline Island, Los Angeles County Sheriffs dropped a bomb on Hollywood by reopening the investigation in Natalie Wood's death. Why now? A source in law enforcement told the Los Angeles Times that the department received a letter from "an unidentified 'third party' who said the captain had 'new recollections' about the case."

Captain Dennis Davern, 81, spoke on the Today Show and said that Robert Wagner was "responsible" for the death. "We didn't take any steps to see if we could locate [Wood]. I did lie on a report several years ago."
