Beginning her film career at age five, Natalie Wood made the successful transition from child star, acting opposite James Dean in "Rebel Without a Cause." She racked up numerous Oscar nods throughout her career, acting in such future classics as "West Side Story" and "Splendor in the Grass." Her personal life included two marriages to the actor Robert Wagner. She was with Wagner and Christopher Walken when she drowned near Santa Catalina Island, California in 1981.
